If you're on a Chromebook, I suggest using Adblock for Chrome instead of this. Instead of blocking just YouTube, it blocks all YouTube ads so they never pop up, along with every other website on the web. It's a full Adblocker, and I've never had a problem in the 2 years I've been using it. Plus, it has a zapper, to get rid of anything you see that you wanna get rid of on a website. It'll come back when your refresh, but it's saved me on those websites where they bring you to the website you need, and then just put something on top of the screen saying you need to pay or make an account to continue. Just zap it, and use everything without making an account (or paying). It's a lifesaver, and works so well, my school installed it to all 500 of the students in my middle school after I emailed them and they checked it out.
